Garlic-Lemon-Herb Grilled Oysters

🦪 Perfect Pairing: House of Henkel Gretchen Sauvignon Blanc

Ingredients:

  • 12 fresh oysters, shucked (on the half shell)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon + 2 tsp juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • Sea salt & cracked pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix butter, garlic, lemon zest & juice, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat grill to medium-high.
  3. Place oysters on the grill, cup side down, and spoon in butter mixture.
  4. Cover and grill 4–5 mins until oysters plump and butter sizzles.
  5. Serve hot with extra lemon wedges.


Tasting Tip: The citrusy herb butter mirrors the Sauvignon Blanc’s bright acidity and grassy freshness.
